Clothed and oil-free are two questions
A service can be oil-free while still involving a change of clothing or a covering. A clothed session may require a particular kind of suitable garment. Ask both questions before booking rather than assuming “Japanese massage” explains the entire arrangement.
The practitioner might use gentle rubbing, broad pressure or quiet contact without the sliding movements associated with oil massage. The exact approach depends on training and preference. If you mainly enjoy flowing strokes, ask how the proposed oil-free session will feel.
Why someone may prefer it
You may dislike lotion, be returning to other plans or feel more comfortable remaining in clothing. Those are ordinary preferences. Anma or Shiatsu can be discussed as possible approaches, but the practitioner should explain the actual version available rather than treating the name as a complete answer.
For example, a slow shoulder-focused session over a soft shirt might suit one visitor. Another may want light hand contact without product. Both still need an agreement about areas, pressure and pace. Clothing does not make hard point work automatically pleasant.
How to prepare
Ask what clothing will suit the planned session. Bulky seams, hard fastenings or delicate fabric may affect the proposed contact. Confirm the position and surface too, especially if a floor-based setup would be difficult. The guide does not promise any particular equipment.
There is no standard frequency for oil-free relaxation. If enquiring in the Pearson area, ask who can provide the approach and confirm the length, price, exact location and appointment time. The aim is a comfortable service you understand, not a surprise about changing arrangements after you arrive.
